Benefit Auctioneer & Nonprofit Emcee

The Room Is Ready. Let’s Make It Count.

A great gala or fundraiser isn’t just a party. It’s a moment — one your guests came prepared to be part of, even if they don’t know it yet. My job is to read the room, hold the energy, and move people from enjoying the event to investing in the mission.

I’m Jordan Dunn. I work with nonprofits across New York and the Northeast to make sure what happens on stage matches the work you’ve done all year to get people there.

SERVICES

Live Auction

Jordan auctioneering in a ballroom in upstate ny

There’s a version of a live auction that feels like pressure.

This isn’t that.

The JD Creative Approach

I work with you ahead of time on item selection, sequencing, and starting bids so that by the time we’re in the room, every decision has a reason behind it. The pacing moves. The crowd stays engaged. And the giving feels like a natural extension of the night, not an interruption to it.

The best live auctions happen when you know who’s in your room and what they’re there to do. I’ll help you get there.

Paddle Raise

Room filled with raised paddles an a fundraising gala in upstate NY

The paddle raise is the most important moment of your event.

It’s also the most underestimated.

The JD Creative Approach

I’ll take your story, your impact, your numbers, your mission, and shape it into an ask that lands with your crowd at your giving levels.

If you have a speaker joining me on stage, I’ll help prep them too. Because the right words, delivered the right way, at the right moment, are the difference between polite applause and paddles in the air.

Emcee

An emcee isn’t just a voice between moments.

They’re the thread that holds the whole night together.

The JD Creative Approach

I bring a grounding presence to the stage: steady, warm, and always moving the program forward with intention. From donor and sponsor recognition to AV coordination to keeping energy up between segments, I handle the details so your team doesn’t have to.

Every engagement includes 2 to 3 pre-event planning calls where we work through your run-of-show, sharpen your script, and make sure the words you’re saying are the right ones for the people in the room.
